The "Quds Day Platform" event was held on Wednesday to mark International Quds Day. A number of leaders and figures from Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, and Palestine spoke at the event.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized that despite 75 years of Israeli occupation of Palestine and Jerusalem, "Israel" has not been able to abolish Palestinian identity and has not been able to legitimize a single inch of Palestine.
In his speech at the Al-Quds Forum event, Sheikh Qassem stressed that Palestine remains occupied, and the Israeli entity has neither a state nor borders. He noted that the Al-Aqsa Intifada came to change the equation, noting that for 18 months since the Al-Aqsa Intifada, the Palestinian cause has shone brightly in the world, emerging as a reality that no one can nullify. Israel has been exposed for its criminal aggression, and at the same time, it has become clear that the Israeli entity is experiencing an existential crisis, and that this occupation cannot consolidate its presence and seize the land of Palestine.
Sheikh Qassem extended his utmost respect, appreciation, and esteem to this struggling, honorable, generous, and sacrificial Palestinian people, this legendary example that has given so much in order to remain attached to its land, pride, and dignity. He also extended his utmost respect to the righteous martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners, the families, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Palestinian factions, and the people of Gaza, the West Bank, the 1948 territories, and Jerusalem.
He emphasized that "all of these represent a living people, with their men, women, and children. These people have sacrificed their most precious possessions for their dignity, rights, pride, and land."
He pointed out that this legendary steadfastness, despite the 50,000 martyrs, more than 160,000 wounded, and 2.4 million displaced from one place to another, subjected to genocide, starvation, oppression, and attempted humiliation, remains steadfast, seeking their reward from God Almighty, confident in His victory and bounty.

He said, “This great person presented the noblest of their own, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, the martyr Ismail Haniyeh, and the head of the political bureau, the martyr leader Yahya al-Sinwar, so the leadership is at the forefront and the martyrs, leaders and righteous, are all on this road, so we have the right today to raise the slogan that the forum saw, the Jerusalem forum, the slogan ‘On the covenant, Jerusalem’ because we will continue and because this Palestinian people will not relent and because with all these offerings it can only be at the forefront, God willing, to restore Jerusalem one day.”
Sheikh Qassem emphasized that the American tyrannical plan is very extensive and very dangerous through its use of the Israeli tool of criminality, namely.
* Liquidating the Palestinian cause completely.
* Displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank.
* Occupying lands from the neighboring countries of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.
* Dividing the countries of the region so that they become many scattered states that are easy to manipulate.
* Controlling the Middle East they want in their image.
He explained that the plan is very extesive, so the sacrifices are enormous because they want to overthrow this plan, which the sacrifices will restrain and bring down no matter how far it goes, because the resistance will continue and the endeavours will continue, adding, “Palestine is great with its people and its resistance, it cannot be defeated, and the future is for Palestine, God willing.”
He continued in his speech, “What do we see? Israel's superiority in extermination, killing civilians, killing life, and destroying everything on the face of the earth, is a shame, but the resistance has excelled by standing firm on its right despite the great sacrifices, and this is a great honor.”
“America's humanitarian leadership mask has fallen and the leviathan has been exposed for what it is and the brutality that characterizes it regarding the rights of the Palestinian people along with the brutality of the Israeli entity.”
“In any case, this is a battle, and the battle is not the end, we are confident that the victory will be for those who believe in this great cause, the cause of Palestine,” Sheikh Qassem said: “We have sent messengers before you to their people, and they brought them proofs, so we took revenge on those who had committed crimes, and it was right for us to support the believers.”
Mr. Al-Houthi: We continue to support the Palestinian people without retreat despite the US aggression
For his part, Ansar Allah leader Sayyid Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi said: “Peace be upon the Palestinian people and their mourners in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and their dear mujahideen in Gaza and the West Bank, and salute the martyrs on the path of Jerusalem from Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Iran.”
Mr. Al-Houthi continued: “We recall the two historical leaders, the martyr of Islam and humanity, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, and the great martyr leader, the martyr of Al-Aqsa and Palestine, Ismail Haniyeh.” Mr. Al-Houthi continued: “The positions of the two martyrs, Mr. Nasrallah and Haniyeh, expressed the truth, awakening the nation and influential in the field.”
“The positions of the two martyrs, Mr. Nasrallah and Haniyeh were issued from the position of sincere will and serious consideration, and they offered everything for the sake of God on the path of Jerusalem, and the two martyrs, Mr. Nasrallah and Haniyeh, contributed to confronting the Israeli tyranny and were at the forefront of our Islamic nation in carrying the flag of jihad.”
The Ansarullah leader continued: “We recall in the Al-Quds platform the great and dear leader of the former Iranian president, the martyr Mr. Ibrahim Raisi, who was a model among presidents in his sincerity and interest in the cause of Palestine, as he expressed of Iran's position and its practical embodiment.”
He continued: “Talking about the Palestinian issue comes within the framework of explaining the necessity of the correct position that corresponds the level of responsibility.”
He added: “The aggressive path of the Israeli enemy with the American partnership is heading towards a clear goal of seeking to liquidate the Palestinian cause, and the displacement of the Palestinian people is clear in the practices of the Israeli enemy through genocide, destruction, starvation and thirst, and the displacement of the Palestinian people is also clear through the attacks on the occupied West Bank.”
Mr. Al-Houthi continued: “The Arab countries must take serious action and take a courageous and historic stance to prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people and reject normalization, and the Israeli enemy cannot displace the Palestinian people without Arab negligence and complicity, and this is what should be guarded against because it is a participation in the crime.”
He went on to say: “If the Israeli enemy completes the displacement of the Palestinians, then the next in line will be from the Arab countries on the on the periphery of Palestine.” “Zionist ambitions in the vicinity of Palestine will only be stopped by a serious and sincere stance, and Muslims can stand against Zionist ambitions if they are serious and rely on God,” he said.
He added: “Muslims can provide the necessary and full support to the Palestinian people and their mujahideen in a way that contributes to imposing deterrence, and Muslims can act instead of allowing the Israeli enemy to impose the state of exploitation, which poses a danger to the entire nation.”
Mr. Al-Houthi continued: “Muslims must beware of despair and psychological defeat, and they must trust in God and His sincere promise of the demise of the Israeli entity.”
He emphasized that “Yemen, officially and popularly, has taken its position in support of the Palestinian people within the framework of its genuine faith affiliation, and our country has moved comprehensively to support the Palestinian people at all levels and contributed to the support with the axis fronts.
Mr. Al-Houthi continued: “We continue to support the Palestinian people without reserve despite the American aggression, and as the greatest jihad in the way of God is against the Israeli and American tyranny, which has reached the worst level of injustice, criminality, and oppression.”
The Ansarullah leader realized that: “If the nation does not move to jihad for the sake of God against Israeli and American tyranny, when will it move? If our nation does not stand with the Palestinian people in their clear and internationally recognized grievances, who will it stand with?”
He continued: “The Israeli enemy continues to violate the clear ceasefire agreement, along with the Americans who was a guarantor of it, and we emphasize our steadfastness in our principled position of faith and humanity in supporting the Palestinian people with everything we can without hesitation or retreat, and we emphasize our steadfastness in supporting the Palestinian people, relying on Allah, relying on Him, and trusting in His victory.
Brigadier General Ismail Qaani: The Al-Aqsa flood demonstrated the unity of the forces and the resistance proved the validity of the divine promise
Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Esmail Qaani, emphasized that as this year's Quds Day anniversary arrives, the Zionist entity continues its brutal crimes against the Palestinian people, backed by the United States, while the Palestinian people demonstrate strong determination through their widespread and extraordinary resistance.
“We salute and remember the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of Jerusalem and Palestine, headed by martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, martyr Ismail Haniyeh, and martyr Ibrahim Raisi,” Qaani added.
“These leaders, who participated in last year's Al-Quds Day activities, have ascended to higher levels and have become guests in the presence of the Almighty God,” he noted. He also noted the importance of remembering all the righteous martyrs who were martyred on the battlefields of Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria.
Qaani explained that the heroic operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” embodied the true meaning of resistance, both in the field and in terms of popular resistance and negotiations to protect the rights of the Palestinian people. He pointed out that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” created a new phenomenon of unity in the arenas that brought together the Muslim and free peoples of the world in the field of confrontation against the occupation, which showed the cohesion of the resistance front in front of the world.
He emphasized that “this resistance proved the validity of the divine promise, as it continues to triumph over falsehood. He added that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” showed the strength of the resistance in the face of the occupation and that despite the crimes committed by the Zionist entity, the resistance was getting stronger and more solid day by day, pointing out that the occupation had failed to limit the resistance.
“The Palestinian resistance has become stronger and deeper compared to the past, and international support and solidarity with the Palestinian people is increasing, as free peoples are ready to take to the streets in defense of Palestine,” Qaani said. He emphasized that this process will continue until the final victory and that the Zionist enemy will not be able to break the will of the peoples.”
In conclusion, Qaani emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran will remain steadfast in its support for the Palestinian people and continue its support for the Islamic resistance in the region, whether through direct military support or military operations, stressing that this support will continue until the final victory and the liberation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
Khalil al-Haya, deputy head of Hamas' political bureau: Resistance will continue until Jerusalem and Palestine are liberated
Khalil al-Haya, deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, emphasized that “the blessed month of Ramadan is about to end, and we are in the shadow of Al-Quds Day, which falls this year in the absence of leaders and heroes who believed in what they promised God, so they died as martyrs on the path of Jerusalem, offering their souls for the sake of Al-Aqsa and Palestine.”
Al-Haya said: “Today we miss the immortal leader, the martyr of the nation, Abu al-Abd Ismail Haniyeh, whose strong words and firm positions we have always followed, as well as His Eminence Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, who promised, believed, and fulfilled his promise until God chose him as a mujahid fighter on the path of Jerusalem. We also miss the mujahid commander with the stick, the leader of the flood, Yahya Sinwar, and Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, who walked the path of jihad and martyrdom, in addition to the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who had honest and firm positions towards the Palestinian cause.”
He stressed that “International Jerusalem Day, which was called by Imam Khomeini, may God have mercy on him, and continued to be celebrated by Leader Ali Khamenei, aims to keep the issue of Jerusalem alive in the conscience of the nation, and to emphasize the need to work for its liberation from the usurpers.”
Al-Haya explained that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle redrew the equations of the conflict, and proved that the clock does not turn back, as the Palestinian resistance initiated and attacked, and showed the world the Zionist entity's weaknesses and its security and military failure, despite the full American support and the open political aid it enjoys.
“After fifteen months of killing, terrorism, and destruction, the occupation has not been able to break the will of the Palestinian people or eliminate their resistance,” he added, noting that the spark of the flood was launched on October 7 to thwart the occupation's attempts to resolve the conflict through the gate of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He continued: “But the resistance, thanks to God, succeeded in exposing the true face of the occupation as a strategic enemy of the nation, and established a new equation of power, as fighters from Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran rushed to fight as one for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, while free people in various countries of the world came out to denounce the aggression and reject American hegemony.”
Al-Haya stressed that the resistance has set clear goals since October 7, foremost of which is stopping the aggression, killing, and terrorism, confronting settlement expansion and attempts to displace the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza, stressing that the resistance will not allow new facts to be imposed in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“Today, on Al-Quds Day, we renew our pledge to our innocent martyrs that we will continue on their path, not wavering or relenting until we achieve victory or martyrdom. We assure our people in the West Bank and the occupied interior that the resistance continues and will not stop until freedom and independence are achieved.”
He added: “We salute our people in the diaspora and exile, and we assure them that the return will remain a sacred right that will not be waived, and we salute the heroes of the Qassam Brigades and the resistance factions, who took up their weapons and risked their lives for Jerusalem and its liberation.”
Al-Haya called on the Arab and Islamic nations to break the state of silence and triumph over the sanctuary of the Prophet Muhammad, stressing that Jerusalem will remain the compass of the nation and the address of its unity and that any loss of it is a betrayal of religion, the homeland and the sacrifices of the martyrs.
He pointed out that the resistance dealt positively with the proposed initiatives, but it will not accept any agreement that diminishes the rights of the Palestinian people, nor will it allow the occupation to impose its conditions. He stressed that achieving the goals of the resistance is closer than ever before.
Al-Haya concluded his speech by emphasizing that the Palestinian people are on their way to freedom and that there is no choice but jihad until victory and full liberation, saying: “It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.”
Nakhaleh: The unity of the resistance forces in the region will remain intact no matter what the sacrifices are
Islamic Jihad Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhaleh saluted “all the martyrs who were martyred in the Al-Aqsa deluge and the brave men who fought the enemy with unparalleled valor.” Nakhaleh said: “Our goals are noble and our dignity is great, and the murderous Jews and their allies will not be able to humiliate us and break our will, and we will come out stronger every time.”
“The resistance and our people are making history today,” he added. He continued: “The unity of the resistance forces in the region will remain intact and integrated, regardless of the sacrifices.”
Nakhaleh continued: “Our people proved that they are strong and unbreakable despite all the global conspiracies, and Jerusalem was bigger than all the world's weapons and crowds.”
Jamil Mizher: This battle revealed the depth of the interdependence between the resistance fronts in the region
For his part, PFLP Deputy Secretary-General Jamil Muzher emphasized that International Al-Quds Day was declared by the late leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, in 1979, to be an immortal occasion that confirms that Palestine, with Jerusalem at its heart, is the central issue of the nation, and that it is the address of the land, identity, and dignity.
He also saluted “the heroes of the resistance in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, who are writing with their blood epics of pride and dignity. We also extend a special greeting to the resistance fronts in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran, which proved that the battle of Jerusalem is the battle of the entire nation.”
He also saluted “the International Committee for the Commemoration of International Jerusalem Day, for its efforts in organizing this event that unites the voice and position in the face of the occupation. This platform reflects the unity of the political position of the Resistance Front and expresses the voice of free people everywhere.”
On this day, Muzher recalled “with pride our martyred leaders who left an immortal imprint in the march of the struggle, headed by the nation's martyr leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, martyr leader Yahya Sinwar, martyr leader Nidal Abdel-Al, and a group of leaders and resistance fighters who died in the battle for Jerusalem and Palestine in the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’. We also remember the martyr Mr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who carried the cause of Jerusalem in his heart until his last moments. These leaders embodied with their blood and sacrifice a model of steadfastness and dedication in the face of the Zionist project.”
Celebrating International Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan carries significant significance. It is a renewed declaration of the unity of the nation and its adherence to its central cause. In the perspective of the major transformations the region is witnessing following the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood and the escalation of the brutal Zionist-American aggression against Palestine and the region, the importance of this day is heightened. The Palestinian cause, with Jerusalem at its heart, will remain the compass of struggle and the banner of unifying peoples in confronting the occupation.
He added, "The Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood has proven that this Zionist enemy is fragile and cowardly and that the Palestinian people are capable of steadfastness and confrontation. This battle also revealed the deep interconnectedness between the resistance fronts in the region, as Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran stood by Gaza in the face of the aggression, affirming that Palestine is not alone.
He emphasized, "Despite the enormous sacrifices made by the resistance, and the heavy price paid by our Palestinian people, as well as the Lebanese, Yemeni, Iraqi, and Iranian peoples, the resistance remains steadfast and continues to rebuild its capabilities. No force on earth can marginalize or defeat it."
He said, "The masses of our people, the sons of the nation, the free people of the world, our Palestinian people are witnessing a brutal Zionist escalation in the Gaza Strip, ongoing aggression in the West Bank, systematic attempts to Judaize Jerusalem, and daily incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque with blatant American support and suspicious international silence. However, what the occupation could not seize by force, it will not achieve through policies of starvation, threats, or massacres. Our people in Gaza will remain steadfast, steadfast, and rooted in their land, confronting the crimes of genocide and attempts at expulsion and displacement with all their will and determination. Jerusalem will remain Palestinian and will remain the heart of the conflict.
In conclusion, Mazhar emphasized, on the occasion of International Quds Day, that rights are not granted but have been taken away, and that peoples who fight for their dignity are invincible. Resistance will continue until the goals of our people and nation are achieved in the liberation of Jerusalem and Palestine. The blood of the martyrs will not be in vain; rather, it will remain a light illuminating our path to victory.
