In violation of all international rules and contrary to Trump's political promises not to involve the US in new wars, Trump took up the Nobel Committee's call, and attacked Venezuela, capturing the head of state and bringing him to the US. Why?

Rubio has also expressed a much more Ukraine-friendly stance than J.D. Vance and Trump himself. There is a close relationship between Ukraine and Israel, not only politically, but also militarily.

This action also came shortly after Netanyahu visited Trump, right after Zelenskyy was there. There is reason to believe that Netanyahu asked Trump for a new attack on Iran. Trump has already expressed support for the opposition in Iran. This opposition is partly real due to economic problems within Iran, but also as support for the more US-organized opposition in Iran that wants the Shah back to ensure that Iran once again becomes a vassal state of the US. At the same time, Israel is securing its continued existence, i.e., continued unlimited expansion of its control over the Middle East.
