Is it “The military–industrial complex”?

What would the world look like if states spent a fraction of their GDP on PEACE?
The US has a finger in everything | There is no doubt that the US has played a central role in most, if not all, wars since World War II. Here, we will examine the two most recent ones.
The US has equipped Israel with weapons, ammunition, bombs, money, and diplomatic backing so that Israel has been able to carry out mass murder, war crimes, and genocide. The US is therefore directly complicit in mass murder, war crimes, and genocide. Some media outlets have discussed whether Israel controls the US or the US controls Israel. What is certain is that they are closely linked.
Through NATO, the US has equipped Ukraine for war against Russia and, with impressive planning, has managed to provoke a war between Russia and NATO. There is also no doubt that the US controls NATO economically, ideologically, politically, and militarily, and thus has good control over Europe. When you look at NATO, there is no doubt that they have worked hard to ensure that Ukraine, which is NOT a member of NATO, finds its place in the sun. Where does this concern come from? Some say: from the arms industry, as if it were all about money.
Who exactly is the arms industry? | There is little point in listing the names of companies that profit from war. These are owned by large investment companies, which in turn manage the money of the very richest. In addition, it may appear that some of these companies are interlinked or “own each other.” Jewish Zionists and “Christian” Zionists are probably well represented here, coordinating the US and Israel according to their wishes.
Enormous corruption may be behind it | According to The Guardian, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson received £1 million to travel to Kiev and persuade Zelensky NOT to sign the Istanbul peace agreement shortly after the war broke out in 2022 – an agreement that today would be considered very favorable for Ukraine. The man behind the bribe is Christopher Harborne, an arms investor. He was probably acting on behalf of the military-industrial complex – the arms industry that profits from war.
If Boris Johnson received £1 million to prevent Ukraine from making peace, we might wonder what Zelensky and his entire Nazi-inspired coup regime have received for their work. There are rumors of billions in money and weapons that have gone into the pockets of the coup regime in Ukraine, instead of going to the war effort.
We also know that AIPAC has corrupted 95% of politicians in the US with millions of dollars in campaign support. If a politician does not want to do what AIPAC says, he is told in no uncertain terms that he will lose the next election.
Democracy in the US is thus well on its way to being dismantled, with the world's richest men ruling the US and Israel and, to a large extent, the EU.
The arms industry always wins in a war | The arms industry does NOT benefit from full weapons stockpiles; it benefits from weapons and ammunition being used in war. It is particularly advantageous for the US if the weapons, armored vehicles, and bombs can be used in a war that does not cost American lives. They have undoubtedly achieved this in both Ukraine and Gaza.
If we look at Ukraine and Israel together, there may be 150,000 to 200,000 tons of explosives in these two wars. There have also been a lot of armored vehicles and military vehicles of all sizes. We can only speculate on how much all this has cost. Probably somewhere between $100 and $200 billion. Norway alone will give NOK 85 billion to Ukraine (including humanitarian aid) in 2025 and probably the same in 2026 (ref. the state budget).
NATO has gained two new members in Sweden and Finland, and NATO as a whole is set to increase its spending significantly – on weapons systems, etc. In short, thanks to the war in Ukraine, the arms industry has gained an extremely large share of countries' gross domestic product, instead of the money going to infrastructure, health, education, and welfare. This also applies to Norway, which has been hit by a budget shock just days after the election.
The money is also being invested in a rather provocative manner. US/NATO bases are popping up like mushrooms closer and closer to Russia's western border, as if to test how far they can go before things explode. With various silos for missiles that can carry nuclear weapons, it is now only a matter of minutes before they can reach Moscow. A mistake no longer gives the parties time to consult each other before pressing the red button.
The military-industrial complex is not dealing in small change, and the profits are enormous. We will never know how much the industry spends on corruption and crisis initiation to create more war. But a small billion in conflict creation is a good investment in future turnover for this industry.
The uncomfortable questions | If the answer to any of the questions below is yes, it is directly irresponsible of politicians and the media NOT to follow up on the suspicion that the arms industry may have played an ugly role in this or other wars.
● Was the war in Ukraine created by the US and NATO in the early 1990s?
● Has the Ukrainian regime, led by Zelensky, been bought and paid for by the arms industry?
● Is it propaganda that Putin is crazy and wants to conquer all of Europe?
● Is the global arms industry running at full speed and making money like never before?
● Will the EU's investment of €800 billion over five years give the industry a significant boost?
● Do Western politicians and media always buy into US rhetoric in wars?
● Is there so much money to be made from war that some people would consider initiating a war for that reason?
● Could Ukraine be sacrificed so that someone can become richer?
How does Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation cover a war like the one in Ukraine? | NBC (NRK) has a special responsibility to provide factual information about wars and conflicts. But the opposite seems to be happening, with NRK running one-sided reports, and only covering “the official” side, namely the official American side of an issue. We have seen this in several conflicts where “the other side” is not even given a chance to speak.
The result is that those who want information about both sides of an issue are referred to “alternative” (read: conspiratorial) channels in media that are “not editorially controlled” (read: not mainstream).
Then we see that NRK runs pure propaganda that serves to promote ONE side of a conflict, or, as in Ukraine, that serves to create a world war in which NATO will intervene and destroy one of the world's two largest nuclear powers. Or so they think.
The NRK has several techniques for being one-sided, here are a few:
● Through outright lies. NRK allows “official commentators” to present lies and propaganda.
● By using “quotes” in headlines (nrk.no) that are deliberately misleading. “— NN is crazy.”
● By not allowing experts with opinions other than NRK's to speak. (E.g.: Jeffrey Sachs, John Mearsheimer, etc.)
● By failing to report news that does not fit in
● By not following up on a case from both sides
● By using sources that have proven to be untruthful (example: Zelensky)
● By creative “coloring,” negative coverage of one party, positive coverage of the other.
The United States—the world's worst terrorist state? | There are many cooks and a lot of mess in this theater. The President of the United States is the one who formally makes the decisions and has political power. But beneath the surface lies the “Deep State,” powerful people in positions of power in secret services that even the president or Congress cannot tame.
Then we have what I would call “permanent lobbyists” who promote their permanent causes, the big ones being AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), NRA (National Rifle Association), NDIA (National Defense Industrial Association) and many more. In addition, there are powerful corporate groups, investment companies, and, not least, extremely wealthy individuals who own much of all this and want to have a say, whether in special forums for the upper echelons of society or in the US Congress.
Then you have all the influencers, the lobbyists who are for sale, and the PR companies that promote whatever it is for those who pay for it. You can be absolutely certain that Zelensky has had a couple of these people pulled over his ears, telling him what to say when and how, arranging “events,” elegantly twisting the truth as top lawyers do with criminal cases and the law.
Look at all the wars that the US, with or without NATO, has waged since World War II based on false events, lies, deception, and disinformation, and ask yourself: is there no one left who tells the truth? Not only that, but they get away with it. Even murder. There will be no investigation into those responsible for illegal wars, there will be no new commission to investigate 9/11, North Stream 2, the wars in Iraq, Libya, Syria or Afghanistan, the assassination attempt on Trump and the execution of Charlie Kirk remain full of holes, and the documents after the assassination of JFK remain classified by a special law because it benefits the reputation of the empire.
The arms industry may be behind the war in Ukraine | There is little doubt that there has been widespread bribery, corruption, and theft of money and weapons on a massive scale in Ukraine. There is no doubt that the arms industry has the motive, opportunity, and means to arrange wars through “crisis initiation,” “opinion manipulation,” corruption, and God knows what other techniques are in their playbook. We have seen and continue to see almost daily Western politicians acting as uncritical propagandists for a war that will become a nuclear war. Hatred of Russians, or perhaps Russophobia, has reached fever pitch. Massive investments are being made in war, and none at all in peace.
What does that really mean? | The word “may” in the headline “The arms industry may be behind the war in Ukraine” is used by NRK when speculating wildly, for example, “It may be the Russians who are behind it,” which they say often.
But in this case, there are stronger reasons to point the finger at the arms industry. The bribery of Boris Johnson has revealed unsavory practices, and there is every reason to believe that this is just the tip of the iceberg. If so, does it matter to us here in Norway or Europe?
● It could mean that the US/NATO has lied about the war in Ukraine just as it has lied about all other wars.
● It could mean that NATO actually poses an existential threat to Russia, which justifiably demands countermeasures, as the US did during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
● It could mean that the US was behind the regime change in Ukraine because it wanted a confrontation.
● It could mean that NATO's persistent work with Ukraine since 1993 was part of a plan for war against Russia.
● It could mean that Russia's war was not “unprovoked” but “provoked.”
● It could mean that the whole thing is about the sale of weapons and money.
● It could mean that Norway and Europe have jumped at the bait, hook, line, and sinker and uncritically bought into the US version, as they always do when the US/NATO goes to war.
What do you do when you MIGHT be on the wrong track? | As always, there are three things “one” does.
1. One conducts a thorough political review
2. One asks the media for broad coverage of the issues
3. One evaluates the “evidence” to determine whether one is on the right track.
This is what failed when Norway joined in the crime against Libya, helping to bomb Africa's leading welfare state back to the Stone Age, killing Gaddafi and permanently destabilizing the country.
● There was no thorough political debate.
● The media did not provide broad coverage of the issue.
● There was no assessment of whether there was sufficient evidence to justify intervention.
For God's sake, let's not make the same mistake again | If there is one thing you do with leaders of states or organizations that have contributed to war, it is NOT to give them a peace prize. Ending a war or a crime for which you yourself are responsible should not earn you a peace prize. On the contrary, it goes without saying that the US in Israel and the US/NATO in Ukraine should clean up their own mess.
Both of these wars could have been ended the day after they began. This was not done because the US did not want it, because NATO did not want it, and because the arms industry did not want it.
